Writing

It is time to write our own story.

In this post, you will find two activities. I advised yo to take the QUIZ! first. In this game, you will see some flashcards. You have to write the names of the characters you see on them.

Once you have written all the names correctly, you can do the second activity. In this one, you will see the same FLASHCARDS. If you flip them over, you can see the names correctly (in case you have forgotten them).

You should choose at least four images. These will be included in your story.

Speaking

 Let's talk about us!

Here we have an activity with which you can show your oral skills. 

You will begin in the START square. When you roll the dice (clicking on your player number), you will advance as many squares as the numbers on the dice. You must answer the questions in the square in which you are placed. 

Don't forget to use all the vocabulary you know. 

The first one who reaches the FINISH square, will win the game.

You can also print the boardgame and play on a table using a dice and a counter.

Listening

Here you have a listening activity. You will watch and listen a short story about a poor boy.

After watching it, you should do a fun game. In this game, you will find some questions. You must choose the correct answer about the video.

Remember that only one answer is correct.

Reading

 Let's read a story!

I introduce you a reading activity.

You will read a story about a lion and a mouse. If there are words you don't understand, you can ask me about them without any problem. I will answer all your doubts.

When you finish reading the story, you can play a fun game in which you will answer some questions about the text you have read.

The Lion and the Mouse

Once when a lion, the king of the jungle, was asleep, a little mouse began running up and down on him. This soon awakened the lion, who placed his huge paw on the mouse, and opened his big jaws to swallow him.

"Pardon, O King!" cried the little mouse. "Forgive me this time. I shall never repeat it and I will never forget your kindness. And who knows, I may be able to do you a good turn one of these days!”

The lion was so tickled by the idea of the mouse could help him that he lifted his paw and let him go.

Sometime later, a few hunters captured the lion, and tied him to a tree. After that they went in search of a wagon, to take him to the zoo.

Just then the little mouse passed by. Seeing the lion’s situation, he ran up to him and gnawed away the ropes that bound him, the king of the jungle.

"Was I not right?" said the little mouse, very happy to help the lion.

MORAL: Small acts of kindness will be rewarded greatly.
